For the third year in succession, Portsmouth & District Unite Community is excited to present the left-wing folk-punk phenomenon David Rovics and the Ministry of Culture!
Hailing from Portland, Oregon, David Rovics is one of the English-speaking world's most incisive, witty, and prolific political songwriters. (Not to mention, a fabulous musician and a really nice bloke!)
He's teamed up with wonderful Brisbane singer and activist Kamala Emanuel to perform under the name "Ministry of Culture". Don't miss it!

The venue is the Southsea Cinema and Arts Centre, 1 Palmerston Road, Southsea.
The performance starts at 9pm, but if you come earlier you will be able to see three young local bands: The Doodahs (6.30pm), Vandal Paint (7.15pm), and The Breaking Hands (8pm).
